A test of green teas for chemical residues, conducted by Stiftung Warentest, illustrates the fact that Teekampagne’s procedures for quality assurance are most severe. With just 0,03 mg/1kg of endosulfans, the amount of chemical residues detected is far below the permissible limit (according to federal regulations) of 30 mg for organic teas.

Ökotest 10/2004
In its October 2004 issue, Ökotest examined 24 black teas from different regions and in different price categories. Teekampagne’s Darjeeling First Flush was among the top teas. It received the very best grade in all categories and an overall ranking of "very good," the best possible ranking.

In addition, it was the most affordable Darjeeling tea among all those tested by Ökotest. Teekampagne Darjeeling earned its top ranking through its exceptional taste and purity. No chemical residues could be found. Therefore, it received "very good" in the category of purity as well.
