Top Grades for Green Darjeeling
In its February issue the German consumer magazine Öko-Test (Eco-Test) analysed 22 different green teas. The teas were from different proveniences and testet for residues of pesticides and mineral oil. Depending on the country of origin the teas were also inspected for radioactive substances and in case of flavored teas for the flavoring agents. The packages of all teas were tested for chlorinated plastics.
We have all of our teas thoroughly anlysed for residues of pesticides. So it does not come as a big surprise to us that in the Green Darjeeling tested by Öko-Test neither residues of pesticides or mineral oil were detected nor artificial nuclear matters or flavors. Of course our packing material contains no chlorinated plastics.
